TO EXPRESS OUR GRATITUDE TO BBC TWO THIS WORLD ON BEHALF OF THE RWANDAN YOUNG PEOPLE: THE RWANDA'S UNTOLD STORY

October 7, 2014

Dear Jane Corbin of the BBC This World,

RE: TO EXPRESS OUR GRATITUDE ON BEHALF OF RWANDAN YOUNG PEOPLE

You can download the document here

Allow us to sincerely thank you for the effort, time and wisdom you invested in the work you have done and revealed it to the world regarding the Untold Stories of Rwanda. We know it has not been an easy walk for you and your production team. But, whatever the pain and humiliation you might have gone to seek the truth for us, The Rwandan Youth know that it has set us free. It is not that easy to reveal such astonishing facts about our history, which has been marred by the world’s highest well-kept secret and conspiracy. Numerous people who have wanted to tell the same truths are few, you joined them by going ahead sacrificed everything just for us to tell our story. It requires a strong and courageous heart and soul to stand up for the voiceless. It calls for the love of humanity and determination to bring justice to the Rwandan victims, Hutus, Twa and Tutsis, as well in order to build a new Rwandan order built on truth. Once again 80% of Rwandan youth scattered all over the world both within and without Rwanda, we say” THANK YOU.”

YOUR WORK ON RWANDA’S UNTOLD STORY IS A REMINDER
As we sat  in our thatched houses with a dim light on top of one the thousand hills of Rwanda we watched in disbelief that there is still someone out there who does not want to swallow the truth and chew the lies from Tony Blair, Bill Clinton, and the “Greatest” Mega-evangelist Pastor Rick Warren. These powerful men go around saying that all is well in Rwanda and yet we Rwandans we know very well that this is a lie. They carry out media campaigns and pay heavily to the best Public Relations firms from both New York and London to construct lies and send them around the world saying that Kagame stopped the Rwandan genocide, brought reconciliation in Rwanda, and built skyscrapers on Mt Jali in Kigali. However, they never bother to ask Rwandans themselves, especially those who were 5 or 10 years old when Kagame launched an assault on Kigali. They never read about how intimidated and fearful we look when the name Kagame is uttered. They never ask us about the last time we had a meal and yet we only live 20 Km away from the fancy buildings in Kigali. Nevertheless, you defied all the Rwandan odds and soldered on to find the truth. Not only did you find the truth and keep it to yourself as millions of Westerners do, you went ahead and put both your life and work on the line because you believed it was the right thing to tell the world “The Rwanda’s Untold Story” of oppression and fear. As the youth of Rwanda, we are not allowed to walk on the streets of Kigali with either barefoot or in sandles locally known as “Kambambili.” This is because Kigali wants to look clean at the expense of poor Rwandans. When we are told that we opt to stay at home and languish of hunger because we cannot be allowed to access the marketplace least we encounter the famous local defence forces. We then end up either beaten to death or in thrown in River Nyabugogo and are then collected by the Burundian fishermen, but if we are lucky we will be thrown behind the bars.

INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY CONSPIRACY AND THE RWANDAN REFUGEES
We, the Rwandan Youth living inside and outside of Rwanda, have seen a lot. We witnessed our parents being butchered by the RPF and the Ugandan army in Byumba, Ruhengeri, and Kigali. The international community stood at a distance as long as their man Paul Kagame was winning. We became orphans and no one cared for us. In 20 years, Jane Corbin is the only journalist from popular international media house such as BBC, has ever bothered to know what happened to our parents between 1990 and 1994. We grew up by our own. Those who survived the Kagame’s RPF onslaught simply because we were Hutus gathered in Nyacyonga refugee camp until 1994 when the RPF came to clean what had been left. Those who survived went all the way to Kibeho. UN Peacekeepers from UK, Canada, and Australia were present when we were shelled at close range as hunted as pigs. We died in thousands but UN, US, UK, and UNHCR were the first to minimize the number from over 6000 Rwandan Hutu Refugees’ bodies to a mere 2000 just to convince the world that their preferred man Paul Kagame did not do anything wrong. All of the international media conspired to say that those who were killed in a refugee camp of Kibeho were interahamwe but we all know that our parents formed a refugee camp within Rwanda because they were tired. The majority of them were pregnant women who couldn’t run any further. Others were our elderly grandparents who, because of their advanced age, had reached the end and surrendered to a force they knew was not going to spare their lives regardless whether they were a Septuagenarian or Nonagenarian as long as you were a Hutu you deserved a bullet on your head. Kofi Annan was watching and cheering as our throats were being slit systematically. Twenty years on, only Jane Corbin has ever dared to tell the world what happened to our beloved ones.

WHEN OUR MOTHERS’ BODIES BECAME A NEW BRIDGE TO CROSS RIVER LUBUTU IN MANIEMA
Those who survived the Kibeho massacre as children between 4 to 11 years old we moved on to Eastern DRC. Kagame had not had enough of us. He said on the radio that he would follow us across the border and butcher us. He was right. Bill Clinton was still his president and Tony Blair was eyeing for a new job opportunity in Rwanda, as the phone companies wanted their own share from DR Congo’s natural resources so that the world can have iPhone. It did not take long before the RPF, Uganda, and Burundi military were given a green light to come and exterminate all Rwandan Hutu refugees living in DR Congo regardless of their age, gender, and criminal record.  We, the Rwandan Youth, remember vividly as it was just yesterday when Kagame’s men descended into Kibumba, Katale, Nyangezi, and other refugee camps shooting at any living creature. Hundreds of thousands lost their lives there but some of us ran for our life. We entered into the dense forests of Congo and walked over 2000 Km on foot until Tingi Tingi. The UN, USA, UK were not happy to see the Rwandan Hutu refugees still alive. They continued their smear campaigns in their media that only Interahamwe have refused to go back to Rwanda.
More than 300 people are writing to you in this letter now and we are now in our late twenties. How could we have become Interahamwe even before we could know how to say that word? I am sure Mr. Kofi Anan, Bill Clinton, Pastor Rick Warren, Tony Blair and Louise Arbour have answers for you. They wanted all of us dead so that their heinous actions in Rwandan and Congolese affairs will never come to light but thank God that even after 20 years there are still people who are yarning for to seek the truth of what really happened in Rwanda.
Thank God that today both Hutus and some Tutsis can come together and tell the world what really happened in Rwanda. Twenty Five years on, the children of all Rwandans regardless of their tribal affiliation still support people like Jane Corbin who stand up for the truth and nothing but the truth regardless of political implications. We the Rwandan youth represent more than 80% of all Rwandans youth from inside Rwanda and outside of Rwanda in the following countries:
US, UK, FRANCE, CANADA, NETHERLAND, BRAZIL, SOUTH AFRICA, ZAMBIA, DRC, KENYA, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, JAPAN, CHINA, INDIA, UGANDA, TANZANIA, MALAWI, ZIMBABWE, THE REPUBLIC OF CONGO (BRAZZAVILLE), CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC, BENIN, SENEGAL, and other countries not mentioned here.
We strongly support the brave BBC this world Rwanda’s untold story documentary yourself and your production team has brought to light. We want to let you know we the Rwandan Youth and our fallen parents love the journalist Jane Corbin for her incredible work she has done to expose the long held conspiracy and give Rwandans the truth they deserve.
